What is NFT?
Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are often constructed using the same type of programming used for cryptocurrencies. To put it simply, these cryptographic assets are built on blockchain technology. They cannot be swapped or traded in the same way that other cryptographic assets may.
Such as Bitcoin or Ethereum. Because of its unique features, the word NFT plainly indicates that it cannot be duplicated or interchanged. Fungible indicates that physical currency and cryptocurrency can be traded or exchanged for one another.
What is the ERC721 Standard?
ERC-721 is a token programming standard on Ethereum for non-fungible tokens (NFTs). It is a template that other developers must adhere to. Following the same standards makes coding easier, more predictable, and reusable. These standards are entirely voluntary, but adhering to one ensures interoperability with a wide range of applications, including exchanges, dapps, and wallets.
